Mission Statement

The primary function of the Mobridge-Pollock Public School System is to promote the well-rounded and continuous growth of its youth into effective citizens in a democratic society.  To attain this goal the school shall endeavor to provide a suitable environment for helpful guidance, training, and experiences which will assist each student to become better adjusted in his/her family, social, and business relationships, concerned for his/her own welfare and the welfare of others, open-minded on controversial issues, trained in work habits, skills, and logical reasoning, and prepared for profitable and gratifying use of leisure time.  Furthermore, the school shall endeavor to provide for the physical and moral well-being of each student.  Finally, the school shall cooperate with the home, church, and other community forces to build the educative experience of its youth.

Snow Makeup Day is March 19, 2020

The MP School District will makeup the snow day we had yesterday (February 12th) on March 19th as per the approved school calendar.

Mobridge Regional Hospital has offered a public announcement in supporting the community in answering questions you may have on the recent case of pertussis in the community.

All-State Football Announced

Congratulations to Reese Cerney and Kregen Norder for being named to the All-State Football Team. Congratulations to Caden Halsey and Trace Cerney for being named Honorable Mention All-State.

Summer Food Service Program

Free lunch to be served to all children Monday - Thursday starting June 3rd. The program will run through July 18th. Lunch will be served from 12:00 - 1:00.

Mrs. Nicole Dallman Named Region #4 Teacher of the Year

Congratulations to Mrs. Nicole Dallman on being named the Region #4 Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Dallman is a third-grade teacher in Mobridge-Pollock School District. Walk To School Day

Freeman Davis Elementary held Walk to School Day on Wednesday, October 10th in partnership with SD DOT and the National Honor Society.

Spring Family Night

The Elementary hosted Family Night on Monday, April 30th. Families had the opportunity to engage in basketball, corn hole, minute to win it, bowling, art , jenga, legos, and snap circuits. We had 53 families attend the event.
